Story
Hi- My name is Julie Tonti. I went to my first Yoga class in 2001, it wasn't love at first sight, but it was something I kept coming back to.
After giving birth to my first child, I began practicing regularly and Yoga helped ground me back in my body. After about 20 years of practicing Yoga, I decided to do a 200 hour teachers training at Grace Studios in Silver Spring, MD. I became a certified Yoga teacher in Spring 2020 in the Vinyasa Flow "tradition". Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a type of Yoga that pairs movement with breath. To me Yoga is not only exercise, but it is a meditation, a trance, a realignment, a coming home to oneself.
Providing a safe & supportive environment for women to practice yoga.
I love working specifically with women, creating a safe, quiet space can be a good medicine for unwinding. I also love working with teachers, as I was in the classroom for many years. I also enjoy working with teens.
